Pinus mugo - Cultivation Notes
The hardy pine prefers a poorer well drained, sandy soil on neutral to acid (not chalky) soil. Plant in an open sunny shade free position including any cold and exposured spots. Don’t prune unless for shape or to removing dead weak wood
