Hedera Algeriensis (Ivy)
This larger leaved variegated ivy is a reluctant climber but will happily scramble to cover unsightly features or lolling over banks providing all year ground interest. Trim to shape when growth gets excessive and tie in to encourage climbing.

Ivy will flourish in most garden soils, but prefer a moist yet well drained fertile soil that is not to alkaline. Hedera will survive heavy shade or full sun, growing as ground cover or climbing plants over walls or trellis, where it can provide an attractive all year foliage cover . Prune to shape at any time of year and tie in straggling growth.
