Penstemon - Cultivation Notes
Penstemon prefers a sunny sheltered location. This perennial is not fully hardy so avoid cold areas. Phlox flourishes on humus rich sandy soil soils. Cut stems after flowers fade. Cut back hard in Autumn / divide every 3-4 years. Mulch in autumn.
