This medium sized Ceanothus is a dense growing evergreen shrub that bears clusters of light blue flowers in early summer on arching branches. Dense dark green foliage is attractive all Year round. Good for planting towards the back of a mixed border in full sun. 2m tall by 3m spread.
Ceanothus concha - Cultivation Notes
Ceanothus will tolerate a wide range of problematic soil types as long as they are well drained and not overly fertile. For best results plant in a warm sheltered spot full sun and make best use of this tough plant by using it in hot dry problem spots where it will flourish in the poor of soils such as dry and and chalk. Ceanothus do not appreciate the cold or shade. Prune lightly to shape in early Spring.
