Catalpa bignonioides - Cultivation Notes

Catalpa will tolerate most soil types - being especially well suited to heavy clays. Generally a deep fertile soil is best. This tree is tender so plant in a warm sunny spot and avoid exposed cold areas. Prune dead wood in early spring.
