This spreading variegated Carex looks good as a specimen in a pot or even better planted informally in groups or 3, 5 or more, where it can be planted in drifts ammoung herbaceous plants and ground cover. Provides all year round interest with its low spreading golden green foliage. Ideal towards the front of the border.
Carex oshimensis - Cultivation Notes
This low growing tufty grass will tolerate full sun but prefers partial shade with decent fertile moist garden soil. Plant ammongst low growing perrnnials in groups or drifts. Mulch every few years. Well suited to planting in a pots or tubs.
