Allium - Cultivation Notes
Allium prefers well drained soils in full sun where it will cope well with poorer soils. This ornamental onion prefers poorer soils in a sunny sheltered spot. Plant as bulbs in autumn and mulch annually in cold areas. Divide and replant older clumps in late summer.
